Solomon Islands National Provident Board supports Solomon Islands Red Cross
The Solomon Islands National Provident Board has donated $5,000.00 to Solomon Islands Red Cross on the 29th of August 2019, to support the SIRC towards their fund raising to raise funds to support communities and individuals during disaster.
At the handing over, Manager Human Resource and Corporate Services (MHRCS) Manasseh Taloafiri commented the SINPF donation is a clear manifestation of SINPF recognizing the pivotal role SIRC is playing in the country especially in times of disaster.
He expresses that the SIRC has injected significant contribution to the individual and community values which encourages respect for other human beings and a willingness to work together to find solutions to community problems.
SINPF has recognized the work of SIRC to address the problems and difficulties victims were facing during disasters. Since the inception of SIRC it has made a huge support of the educational needs of people with special needs and for the humanitarian services the organization does throughout the Solomon Islands.
Meanwhile, the SIRC has acknowledged the donation from SINPF towards humanitarian services in the country. It said SINPF has donated to SIRC for a second time and it shows how they recognize the work SIRC is giving to the people of Solomon Islands.
