The South Pacific Oil have paid out of its 2015 profit a dividend of SBD 53,990,260 to the Solomon Islands National Provident Fund(SINPF). 2015 was the most profitable year after 9 years of its commercial operation. Only two years after the April floods in 2014 that affected our economy and SPO business, SPO was able to strategically review its business to achieve this excellent result.

The Solomon Islands National Provident Fund (SINPF) was established by the National Provident Fund Act 1973 as a statutory savings scheme that covers all employed persons who are resident, or whose employer is resident, in the Solomon Islands.
The Solomon Islands National Provident Fund (SINPF) and United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) have signed a partnership agreement to jointly carry out a research study on the informal sector financial services in the Solomon Islands.
Employee staff members of the Solomon Islands National Provident Fund (NPF) went on a retreat including branch managers of Gizo and Auki offices. This was part of an organisation wide exercise to conduct its 2 year scheduled SWOT analysis and update NPF’s five year rolling business plan (2014-2019).
