SINPF Participates in 2024 Independence Float Parade

[NPFNEWS] Solomon Islands National Provident (SINPF) joined the independence anniversary float parade on Monday the 8th of July 2024 in Honiara.

The float parade started at 6:30 am to 7:30am. The government lead float parade joined by various government ministries, Non-Government Organizations (NGOs), State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), foreign diplomatic missions and others.

SINPF Conducts Employers Seminar

The Solomon Islands National Provident Fund conduct one day seminar on the 18th of June for employers at the Anglican Church Hall in Honiara.

Speaking at the seminar the Assistant Manager Members Services (AMMS) Jairus Hiele said that the intention of this seminar is for SINPF to cultivate a good relationship with employers, educate them to understand better their statutory obligation as stipulated in SINPF Act.

SINPF $81 million dollar Project for new commercial building commences

The Solomon Islands National Provident held a ground-breaking ceremony yesterday (Thursday) to commence the construction of the new SINPF commercial building opposite the new Ombudsman Office in Honiara.

Speaking at the ceremony the Deputy Chairman of SINPF Board David Rupokets said this new commercial property located in the heart of the Honiara CBD is expected to cost around SBD81 million (inclusive of all taxes) and construction is expected to take up to 20 months to complete.

NPF Launch mobileFund

The Solomon Islands National Provident Fund launched its new product dubbed as the Instant Digital Nanoloan “mobileFund” on the 26th of March, 2024 at the Heritage Park Hotel in Honiara. 

Delivering his key note address to mark the launching, the SINPF General Manager Mike Wate appreciated the continued interest in SINPF’s efforts to serve all Solomon Islands, first through youSave, youSave loMobile and now through mobileFund.
