It’s 8.5% crediting rate: SINPF Vice Chairman

The Solomon Islands National Provident Fund Vice Chairman Dr. Aaron Oritaimae has announced the crediting rate for 2019 financial year is 8.5%.

Today’s crediting rate announcement is a historical one as after 42 years, the Board is performing this very important function for the very first time based on audited accounts for the year end.

Dr Oritaimae said he was pleased to announce the award of an eight percent (8.5%) crediting rate for members for the 2019 financial year.

SINPF New Duplex Open

Solomon Islands National Provident (SINPF) Board has opened its new duplex to accommodate its staff on 23rd of September 2019 at Tasahe. The opening went along with inspection; key handover and blessing from Anglican priest Jabesh Akao.

General Manager of SINPF Mike Wate said, the handover of the New Duplex demonstrates true spirit of working together with the contractor to ensure the Duplex was completed on time.

Moving Tavanipupu to greater heights is my top priority: Manager Mereoni

Manager of Tavanipupu Island Resort (TIR) Mereoni Adimaisau says it is my new management team and staff flagship marketing strategy to transform the resort into a top resort in Solomon Islands to offer world class tourism and hospitality.

 “Since I resume as a new manager, TIR have a good team of staff that supports me and this are the team that will propel Tavanipupu forward,” she said.

 “Also my vision to facelift TIR to become the first mariner resort in Solomon Islands and also to build more bungalows up to 15, because currently only 9 bungalows were in use by guests.
